Google Ads API review

Campaign Vector Google Ads API use

Campaign Vector is a private-preview marketing workflow product for businesses and authorized campaign operators. It is being rebuilt around Google Ads planning, launch packet review, approval-gated account changes, and reporting for connected accounts.

Business model and product status

Campaign Vector provides marketing operations software and related campaign management support for businesses that need controlled, service-area-aware growth campaigns. The product is opening access gradually through a private preview.

The public website, waitlist, privacy policy, and terms are live. The application workflow is being rebuilt behind private beta access, so the mockups below describe the Google Ads API flow that reviewers can evaluate while full interactive access is being prepared.

Primary Google Ads API purpose

Account connection, campaign planning, launch previews, approval-gated campaign management, and reporting for authorized Google Ads customer accounts.

How Campaign Vector uses the Google Ads API

The requested use is limited to ad creation and management, reporting, and campaign research needed to support approved customer accounts.

Authorized account connection

Campaign Vector connects Google Ads accounts only after an authorized user completes OAuth consent for the Google Ads scope.

  • OAuth connection status
  • Customer account selection
  • Credential readiness checks

Planning and preview

The tool reads account context and campaign data so operators can prepare search campaign briefs, keywords, budgets, ads, and launch packets.

  • GoogleAdsService reporting reads
  • Campaign context review
  • Keyword and recommendation research

Approval-gated mutations

Campaign Vector does not spend, launch, pause, resume, change budgets, or change targeting until an authorized user approves the exact action.

  • Campaign, budget, ad group, ad, and criterion changes
  • Risk summary
  • Rollback plan

Monitoring and reporting

Approved users can review campaign performance, spend, conversions, search terms, and optimization opportunities for connected accounts.

  • Campaign metrics
  • Search term review
  • Optimization summaries

Human approval and operational controls

Campaign Vector is designed around approval gates. Internal automation can assemble drafts and recommendations, but external Google Ads mutations require a reviewed approval packet before they are submitted.

  • No Google Ads account is connected without OAuth consent from an authorized user.
  • No public campaign mutation or spend-affecting action is submitted without explicit human approval.
  • Approval packets show the exact intended payload, target account, budget, targeting, risk level, and rollback plan.
  • Campaign Vector does not create Google Ads accounts, manage billing, or manage Google Ads user access through the API.
  • Google Ads data is not sold and is not used for unrelated advertising profiling.

Google Ads data handling

Campaign Vector uses Google Ads data only to provide connected account workflows, campaign planning, approved campaign management, reporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and customer support. It does not sell Google Ads data or expose it to unauthorized third parties.

OAuth refresh credentials, account identifiers, campaign metrics, approval records, and mutation logs are stored only as needed to operate the service, maintain security, support auditability, and honor deletion or revocation requests.

Revocation and deletion

Users can revoke access from their Google account or request removal of stored tokens and connected account data by contacting info@campaignvector.com.
